    Project BOOST

    Project BOOST (Bronx Opportunities for Out of School Time) is a Department of Youth and Community Development Out of School Time program where The Bronx Institute provides intensive services to a middle school to ensure academic progress for their students. Project BOOST is currently servicing the Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice. The goal of Project BOOST is to offer students a wide range of activities that will engage them and help them succeed in their future educational plans.

    Project BOOST's six main goals are:

  • Foster academic, social, and emotional competencies and physical wellbeing.
  • Provide opportunities for youth to explore interests and activity.
  • Build emotional competencies
  • Provide opportunities for youth to explore interest and creativity
  • Cultivate youth leadership and community engagement
  • Engage families in the support of the above goals
